A YOUNG holidaymaker uses his lilo to surf the soggy streets of San Antonio in Ibiza after the party island was hit by summer storms.
The youngster entertained his mum with an impromptu display after lightning and heavy rain forced them off the beach.
Flights into and out of the island were affected and a road leading to the airport flooded as an unseasonal heatwave gave way to a downpour with heavy rain and wind.
Local reports said the bad weather prevented planes from taking ofF or landing from around 8.30pm local time on Wednesday.
Ibiza airport officials were unable to immediately confirm the number of flights affected, although a flight from Alicante on the Spanish mainland was delayed and another to Palma in Majorca had to be cancelled.

Parts of the island also experienced power cuts and falling rocks from cliffs in Es Cubells in the south-west of Ibiza, near the villa of Kate Middleton’s uncle Gary Goldsmith, make life difficult for motorists.
Several people had to be rescued by police and the road closed around 8pm following landslides.
Fans of famous DJ and producer Dillon Francis were also left disappointed after he had to cancel his show at Ushuaia Ibiza Beach Hotel in Playa d’en Bossa because of heavy rain.
He tweeted: “Ibiza. Sadly due to torrential rain the show is cancelled today. #F##k Rain.”

Rachel Paterson added: “Ibiza Rocks bar flooded with rain. Everyone swimming about the floor and listening to Christmas songs in the middle of August.”
While the storms in Ibiza were making the initial headlines, the Costa Blanca was also affected.
Four female holidaymakers had to be evacuated from their holiday villa in Javea near Benidorm overnight after it flooded.
They reportedly spent the night at a makeshift Red Cross shelter.
Heavy winds and rain also toppled a fairground attraction in the nearby resort of Denia, although there were no reports of any injuries.
The sky unleashed its fury on the Costa Blanca resorts around 11pm local time on Wednesday after initial morning rainfall leading to flooding along several roads.
Ibiza’s neighbouring island Formentera, where three small boats reportedly sunk and others were smashed onto rocks, was also affected.
No-one was injured as the vessels were all empty at the time.
The sudden weather change followed a heatwave across southern Europe including Spain which led to around 20 provinces being put on alert for high temperatures.
Rain was expected to reach the Costa del Sol later today after a drop in temperatures.
The searing heatwave, dubbed Lucifer, has made way for torrential weather in Italy with a hail storm striking Brandizzo, a town in northern Italy near Turin on Wednesday.
Incredible video footage shows how the storm flooded an intersection and created a whirlpool in one of the town's street.
And at least 150 people have been evacuated from the Aosta valley in north west Italy – after storms caused dangerous landslides, reports the Torino Republica.
