Opinion: We have to stop pinning Kim and Bianca against each other when it comes to Kanye West
The Internet went wild as they claimed Bianca Censori was more ‘motherly’ to her partner Kanye West’s children than biological mother, Kim Kardashian. But we have to stop pinning these women against each other. The role of stepmom and mom are different and come with their own challenges.
Since Bianca Censori has been married to Kanye West, eagle-eyed fans have followed their every move. Kim Kardashian, Ye’s ex-wife and the mother of his four children, is often compared to Bianca, yet the only thing they have in common is a history with the rapper. Kim has always been open about how she feels towards her ex-husband Kanye West, but has never spoken a bad word about Bianca – and vice versa.

Kim has openly spoken about how she suffers from “mom guilt” when she has to work. That’s only going to be heightened when she sees the world reacting to her ex-husband’s new wife with her kids.
It is beneficial in any blended family when kids get along with stepparents. For Bianca and Kim, they are stepping towards the bond similar to how well her sister Kourtney Kardashian gets along with Travis’ kids!
We have to stop building up a dramatic narrative over different mothering roles, especially for those in the public eye who face so much ridicule and criticism every single day.

Kim fulfils her role as mom while Bianca is now the West children’s new stepmom. For people to compare the two makes no sense, as they both have a duty to look after Ye’s kids equally well.
Kanye and Kim have a co-parenting relationship, and the rapper has even spoken to his kid’s new manny, teaching him how to look after the kids. Manny and Bianca really don’t have much difference in roles.
Naturally, the expectations of a biological mother compared to a stepmom are different, but just because we’ve seen one snap of Bianca cuddling Chicago doesn’t mean Kim doesn’t do the same.
