THREE police officers have been left with cuts after being called to a fight between three men in a south London street.
There were initial reports on social media an officer had been stabbed, but the cops' injuries have been confirmed as "not life threatening".
They were trying to break up three men brawling in Plumstead High Street just after 2pm this afternoon when they were injured.
Two men have been arrested, but one is unaccounted for.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: "Police were called to High Street, Plumstead at 1414hrs on Tuesday, 31 October to reports of a fight between three males in the street.
"Officers attended and have arrested two males [no further details] on suspicion of GBH with intent. They were taken to a south London police station where they currently remain.
"Three officers sustained injuries [cuts]. Their injuries are not life threatening.
"One suspect remains outstanding.
"Officers from Greenwich borough investigate. Enquiries continue."
