We’re just days away from the start of Taylor’s 1989 world tour, but it’s never too soon to fantasize about her next album.

1989‘s songs welcomed a bunch of contributors, including Jack Antonoff and Imogen Heap. So could Taylor’s next collaboration be with fellow best-selling artist Kanye?

“We’ve never been in a studio together, but, he’s got a lot of amazing ideas,” Taylor told Entertainment Tonight in response to comments that Kanye made back in Feb. 2015 about doing a duet with her. “He’s very creative and [I] completely respect him as a producer.”

High praise, Taylor! Looks like their infamous 2009 MTV Movie Awards moment has been all but forgotten.

Taylor also shared that she’ll be waiting a while to record new music — maybe until after her tour is over — because she wants to take all the time she needs to create another amazing album.

“I’m not making the next record yet, that’s going to take a lot of thinking about what that should be,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “With 1989, I love this album so much that I think it’d be doing a real disservice to try and copy it the next time around. I think it’s going to have to be something very different, creatively.”

Kanye or no Kanye, we expect great things from Taylor and we’re sure that her next record will be a smash no matter what!
