Beloved supermarket follows Target & offers 'Ultimate Holiday Meal' under $15 per person but you can

MAJOR grocer The Fresh Market has announced a raft of Turkey Day feasts for sale.

The selection is the latest meal deal offered by a major grocery chain after stores like Target did the same.

The Fresh Market, which has stores in 22 states, will allow customers to pre-order the complete meals up until November 21.

Pickup will occur on November 20-23.

November 23 is Thanksgiving Day itself, meaning last minute pickups will be available.

Each meal comes precooked, though the store advises reheating.

There are several meals available for various prices and situations.

The Ultimate Holiday Meal feeds 12-14 people for $200.

The $15 per person includes:

  • Turkey
  • Ham
  • Whipped potatoes
  • Stuffing
  • Gravy
  • Roasted butternut squash
  • Green beans
  • Cranberry relish
  • Dinner rolls

While classic, this is not the only option available.

A slightly smaller Traditional Holiday Meal feeds 8-10 people for $100.

At about $10 per person, the meal includes:

  • Potatoes
  • Stuffing
  • Gravy
  • Cranberry relish

For anyone who does not want to bother with a full turkey, The Fresh Market offers options with cooked turkey breast or ham as the centerpiece.

The Essential Holiday Meal deal serves 3-5 people for $75, and features many classic sides around 3 pounds of turkey breast.

The Essential Ham Meal features the holiday’s second most popular meat instead, also at $75.

The Fresh Market also features new meals for two, allowing precooked pickup meals to serve smaller holiday occasions.

OTHER THANKSGIVING DEALS

The Fresh Market is not the only grocer offering a deal on the classic meal.

Costco, a major wholesaler, is offering thanksgiving meals via delivery across the lower 48 states.

That grocer’s $200 meal deal comes frozen, so customers can cook their turkey themselves.

The deal lacks ham and does not come with a full turkey, but it does include mac and cheese as well as desserts.

However, customers must preorder their meals by November 5 to receive them in time for Turkey Day. 

That leaves just hours for the thankful to get cooking with Costco.

But the competition for best Thanksgiving meal goes even further, as Cracker Barrel is also offering a feast.
