Who are Real Housewives of New York star Eboni K. Williams parents?
EBONI K. Williams is more than just a Real Housewives star.
The 37-year-old North Carolina native is also an American lawyer and television host with an interesting family life.
Who are Eboni K. Williams parents?
On this season of The Real Housewives of New York City, Williams has been on the hunt to track down her extended family.
Williams was raised by her single mom, Gloria J. Williams, in Lousiana and revealed that she was raised to embrace the Black experience.
Not much information is available on her mother's age or occupation.
"We got to know our story. We have to know our experience," Williams said in an interview with BravoTV.
"I think one of the things my mother... gifted me with when I was coming up as a young girl for Christmastime and birthdays, yes I would get Barbies and Cabbage Patch Dolls and all that, but I would always get these incredible books on the Black experience... So, that's important."
Williams has also never been shy to talk about her history, revealing that she never knew her father growing up.
"I never knew my father; not only didn't know him; didn't even know who he was. So I had no identity as it related to my paternity," she continued.
Is Eboni Williams' biological father alive?
As season 13 of the show continues, so does Williams' hunt to track down her biological father.
On the August 17th episode, Williams was seen meeting with a a genetic investigator to find out more about him.
"I'm a bundle of nerves today," she said. "Depending on what she [the genetic investigator] tells me, here is yet another thing I will need to process."
Williams had previously met with the investigator to provide a DNA sample. This time around, the investigator was able to give Williams some promising news.
"Your DNA results were enough for me to then determine that there are three candidates for your father," the investigator said. "They are all brothers. They are from the same family line."
Based on the information Williams gave about her family tree, the investigator took an estimated guess on which one of the three brothers might be her father.
"The one I believe is your father, he is married and he has two daughters," the investigator continued. "The youngest daughter bears a very strong resemblance to you, as does who I believe is your father."
The name of Williams' potential father was not revealed on the episode but it confirmed he is still alive.
"I want to just be happy that I have a dad," Williams said, "and just bask in that truth for the first time in my entire life."
